What is Zen? A Day of Discovering Zen, Zazen and The Buddha Way
Led by: Yushin Christophe Guillet, a senior monk in Zen Monastery Kanshoji in France

The day begins with an introduction to Zazen at 8:30am followed by zazen at 9:00am
There will be a talk and an opportunity to ask questions on Zen, Zazen and the Zen pratice. This will be followed by more Zazen. The day is open for people who have not practiced Zazen before, as well as for experienced practitioners

The day starts promptly at 8:30am (please allow 15 minutes for arrival)
Tea, lunch and snacks will be provided
Where:
St. Hilda’s Church Hall, Courtrai Road, Crofton Park, London SE23 1PL (near Crofton Park National Rail station or Honor Oak Park overground station)
Cost:
£30 recommended (£20 concession)
Bring:
A Zafu if you have one, and for the meal, a bowl with your own spoon, fork and a cloth for wrapping them together. Please wear dark, loose clothing for the day
