Are you already working on a rakusu or a kesa? Would you like to start? Have you discussed the meaning of this with someone? Are you considering receiving the precepts?  This is a chance for you to get some guidance!

Rakusus and kesas are sewn by people who would like to take refuge and receive the precepts (aka: bodhisattva ordination), or receive tokudo ordination (monk/nun) – if this is you – if you’ve discussed this with a senior practitioner, or a teacher then come along!  Do not start a kesa unless you have spoken to a teacher.

We have a WhatsApp group for those who are sewing – make sure I’ve got you on the group – each week is opt-in and if nobody else can come, or if I need to work/or am away, the afternoon will be cancelled.
