Tuesday Rakusu/Kesa Sewing 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Are you already working on a rakusu or a kesa? Would you like to start? Have you discussed the meaning of this with someone? Are you considering receiving the precepts?  This is a chance for you to get some guidance!

Rakusus and kesas are sewn by people who would like to receive the precepts (bodhisattva ordination), or receive tokudo ordination (monk/nun) – if this is you – if you’ve discussed this with a senior practitioner, or a teacher then come along!

It’s also possible to sew a rakusu as a gift, but this is best done if it is not your first, unless you are sewing it for someone specific.

This will be in-person AT THE DOJO .
