Senior Zen Monk Yushin Christophe Guillet
from Kanshoji Zen Monastery
The Brockey Zen Group is happy to welcome back Yushin Christophe Guillet to lead a day of Zen practice in London. Yushin has been a Zen monk since 1995 and has been living in Kanshoji Zen Monastery in France since 2002 when it was founded. He is a disciple of Taiun Jean-Pierre Faure, abbot of Kanshoji and together with his co-disciples helps spread the Dharma. In Kanshoji, he is responsible for Samu – all work activities necessary for the daily life of the community
What
The day is dedicated to the practices of zen and zazen including teachings, the traditional ceremonies, and shosan (question and answer with tea).
Newcomers and experienced practitioners are welcome
Lunch will be provided
Wear/bring
Please wear loose, dark coloured clothing for the day.
Please BRING a bowl (to eat your lunch in), a fork, a spoon, and a piece of cloth to wrap these items in.
