This will be a 2.5 day Zen Practice Retreat (Sesshin) In Sheringham, Norfolk to be led by Senior Teacher, Taiun Jean-Pierre Faure

About the Teacher: Taiun is the abbot of the Kanshoji Zen Monastery , near Limoges in France.  For more information about Taiun Jean-Pierre Faure – Follow this link.

Arrival: Friday  7th February, late afternoon but by 7:30pm

Departure: Monday 10th February, after lunch and samu (around 3pm)

Bring: Loose-fitting, dark clothing for zazen, a zafu (if you have one – some will be available to borrow), a bowl for food (with a spoon and fork) and a cloth (such as a tea-towel) to wrap your bowl in

Location: Sheringham Youth Hostel, See Map – 1 Cremer’s Drift, Sheringham, Norfolk  NR26 8HX.
The Youth Hostel is situated in Sheringham, off the A149 Coast Road, behind St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church

Cost:

Friend of IZAUK: £125 (recommended), £100 (low waged), £80 (unwaged)

Non-Member:  £140(recommended), £115 (low waged), £90 (unwaged)

Train Information: Sheringham is served by both National Express coaches (from London and the Midlands) and Anglia railways.  The railway station and the bus terminus are only 5 minutes walk from the hostel.
