DESCRIPTION:There will be Rakusu/Kesa sewing  at the Cally Road Dojo this afternoon.\nStart time:  12:00 – Ending at 15:00\nKesas and Rakusus are sewing by those who are preparing for ordination, either as a Monk or Nun, or who are going to be receiving the precepts in the Bodhisattva ordination ceremony.   This is sewing Buddha’s robe,  which is Buddha’s teaching and ultimately, Buddha.\nRakusus or Kesas can also be sewn as a gift.\nIt’s very important that you discuss this with a teacher  (Godo), particularly before starting on a Kesa.\nIf you are planning on attending, please let Lana know by phone, email or text\n(text/phone: 07946 441 884) If nobody signs up, or lets me know by email or text that they are coming, I will assume that nobody is coming, and take the evening/afternoon off .\nIf you require any special supplies (thread, cloth, pencil, needles etc) please advise Lana in advance.\nAs always,  a small fusé  (donation) to the dojo will be appreciated (these help cover  extra expenses like gas and electric)\n
